With over two million specimens and artefacts, the permanent exhibits of the Western Australian Museum (Perth site) include galleries of birds, butterflies, and marine life. As well, highlighting the history of Western Australia are exhibits of the Katta Djinoong (Western Australia's first peoples), the Old Perth Gaol, and local geological phenomena.
